So, Pirating? Like I said before? About it being bad, and agreeing? I think you're using cracking in the sense of breaking DRM? Whereas I'm using it in the sense of things like the BOLO trainer for Just Cause 2, that lets you use multiple grapples with infinite strength, etc.Ĭonsole games are cracked too, you do know this right?Īnd you do know that the % of people who pirate console games compared to PC games is ridiculously tiny, right?Īnd I love how you guys are arguing with me that piracy is part of the reason PC ports have stopped happening, when that is exactly the reason. 2K have released a demo for their soon-to-be-released Mafia 2 and it is now available on Steam. 'Oh.someone already cracked it and released it for free? Well. Steam is awesome and the full game will use steamworks so youll need to get your pc working correctly if you even want to play the game. God knows how many hours of fun I got out of using the BOLO trainer on Just Cause 2, when I would have otherwise put the game down earlier. It only serves to add fun and life to a game that might otherwise die out sooner. But I think it should be sort of obvious why game companies aren't.Īlthough I can see them being against pirating of their content, being against cracking/modding on any dev's part is simply stupid. All I mean is that the fact that PC games are released and then instantly cracked in every possible way within hours-including being torrented-is sort of a pretty good reason to just abandon it all together.Īgain, I wasn't arguing against the act, I'm totally in favor of modding. This page contains Mafia 2 cheats, hints, walkthroughs and more for PC. I wasn't suggesting that it did anything like that. Unpack the contents of the archive, run the trainer, and then the game.
